Class will be held in person, limited to 10 students.
Students must be 13 years and older to participate.
For all of the guitar classes students must provide their own guitar and music stand. This hands-on class will get you going on the guitar. It covers essential chords, important strumming patterns, and progressions of chords found in many well-known songs. You will learn how to decipher chord diagrams, guitar tablature and other systems used to notate guitar music. Beginning with short examples, you’ll build skills that will later allow you to play entire songs and you will have the opportunity to practice these skills in context with classmates.
