Moons

The moon is our closest neighboring world.  You can see it nearly every night. But how much do you know about the moon? Learn about its formation, geology, and geography, and how to find its most prominent features with a telescope, binoculars, or even just your eyes.  We’ll also go into the history of moon observation.  And we’ll move farther out to discuss the other fascinating moons of our solar system, including the Galilean moons of Jupiter and the unique moons of Saturn, Neptune, and Uranus.
