New Astronomy Series

The Stars have aligned.  Come to the Glastonbury Planetarium and enjoy these 4 new classes.   Classes can be taken individually or the full series.

(Series of 4 classes is $89) To register for the series please call 860-343-6044.

The Planetarium is located at the:  Glastonbury East Hartford Magnet School, 95 Oak Street, Glastonbury.

Enter at the main school entrance.  The planetarium entrance is just inside to the left.  Doors will open at 6:30 pm

Please Note:  You must arrive 6:30-6:45 pm, as class starts promptly at 7:00 pm after which the planetarium doors are closed.  They cannot accept late arrivals.

Exoplanets

Planets are not unique to our solar system.  Since the discovery of the first planet orbiting another star in 1995 we have found thousands of exoplanets.  We’ll explore the variety of exoplanets found so far and the techniques used to find them.  Is there life on other planets? Come find out.
