Description

Paint a beautiful winter scene in watercolors with watercolor artist Nancy Roman.

Learn the techniques to paint snow and winter skies, with watercolor washes that reflect the muted colors of a New England winter.

In additions to creating an original painting to frame, Nancy will give you tips to photograph your painting so that you can use it to create your own original Christmas cards or notecards.

You can use a reference photo of your own, or choose one of the many photos that Nancy will provide.  Our drawing method makes even complicated subjects easy to draw.

Because of the technique we will use for the initial drawing, your photo needs to be 5" x 7". 

Your picture should be PRINTED, not a photo on your phone or tablet.  If you have a picture but don't have that size or can't print it, Nancy can help you if you let her know in advance.  A photocopy is fine.

All materials will be provided, high quality paint, paper, brushes, and drawing materials, etc.
