Introduction to Handspinning
Lily Stabile
In this class you will learn the fundamentals of spinning wool with a drop spindle while exploring fiber selection, yarn characteristics, and what makes a quality hand-spun yarn. You will learn to work with wool and a spindle, examine a variety of fiber samples and finished yarns, and even have the opportunity to try a spinning wheel. Perfect class for people who knit, crochet and weave. Materials fee of $12 payable to instructor night of class.
