Create a beautiful seascape painting with watercolor artist Nancy Roman

NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY

Watercolor is a superb medium to capture the delicacy of the sea, and in this 2-hour class, you'll create your own lovely watercolor painting.

You'll learn the techniques of watercolor washes, color mixing, and value and tone.

You can use a reference photo of your own,or choose one of the many photos that the teacher will provide.  As you look for a photo, consider photos that include boats, or a beach, or a beautiful sky.  Our drawing method makes complicated subjects easy to draw.

Because of the he technique we will use for the initial drawing, your photo needs to be 5 x 7.  Your picture should be PRINTED, not a photo on your phone or tablet.  If you have a picture but you don't have that size or can't print it, instructor can help you if you let  her know in advance.  A photocopy is fine.

All materials will be provided, high quality paint, paper, brushes, and drawing materials. etc.
