Wanna whittle?

Learn the basics of wood carving with Rick Johnson.

He will have a project or two for you to try. He will go over an introduction to woodcarving, safety, blade maintenance and the basic cuts. Once you have that, you will start whittling a project or two. Choose from a Christmas ornament or a hedgehog. The blanks are $5 each, payable to instructor.

He will have all the tools you need to use, but if you already have carving tools, feel free to bring them and he will discuss their use.
